Experience You Can Trust
Our Story of Leadership and Legacy
In 1984, Bartley Healthcare’s founders recognized the need for quality long-term care in Ocean and Monmouth Counties. They set out to create skilled nursing healthcare services by focusing on this simple concept: Treat residents, patients and their families as they would their own family. Bartley Healthcare opened in 1985 with a 120-bed Skilled Nursing facility. Within 10 years, we expanded to include an additional 62 skilled nursing beds and a 48-bed Post-Acute and Rehabilitation unit. The services have been expanded further to include a secured unit for adults requiring Memory Care. In 2001, we expanded our continuum of care services on the Bartley campus when we opened The Orchards at Bartley Assisted Living. The Bartley campus now includes three buildings offering long-term care, Post-Acute and Rehabilitation services, Assisted Living, palliative care and physician services.
Part of Bartley’s expansion has been the creative development of award-winning programs and services. Whether it’s the creation of a dedicated Memory Care unit, participating in the Geriatric Fellowship Program or the implementation of healthcare analytics and electronic medical records to improve the continuity of care offered to patients – Bartley Healthcare is dedicated to addressing the needs of each patient, resident, and family.
Recognition for Quality
Coupling a strong foundation of award-winning services with state-of-the-art technology, Bartley has earned accolades for its dedication to improving the care received and lifestyle offered to patients and residents. Bartley Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation is one of only 25 skilled nursing facilities in New Jersey to achieve accreditation from the Joint Commission. All of our facilities have been recognized for setting the standard for care, as evidenced by the wide range of awards we’ve received.
