Everyone Is A Winner - Memory Walk 2004

On Saturday, October 9, 2004, 13 members of Team Bartley participated in a three-mile walk sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association of Greater New Jersey. Team members, made up of a diverse group of employee volunteers from various departments on the Bartley Healthcare campus, helped to raise money to provide education and support to local families affected by Alzheimer's Disease. This year, the Bartley campus contributed $3,900.00 to Memory Walk 2004.

In addition to its fund raising efforts, the Bartley Healthcare campus has a series of innovative programs and seminars to meet the needs of Alzheimer’s patients and their families. Our unique program called The Cedar Spring Program, based on guidelines from the Alzheimer’s Association, offers an individualized activity program that maximizes the resident’s functional and cognitive abilities. Throughout the year, Bartley offers community education seminars that often address timely topics in Alzheimer care.
