Bartley Healthcare Sponsors Healthfair For Seniors

(September 30, 2005, Jackson, NJ) Bartley Healthcare, a leading provider of nursing, rehabilitative and assisted living care recently sponsored the second in a series of health fairs to promote wellness for seniors. Hudson Manor, Freehold, was the setting for over fifteen participants, representing various aspects of healthcare, for over 150 residents of Hudson Manor.

In addition to several healthcare professionals within the nearby community, Bartley's team of nurses, dentist, podiatrist, dietician, social service and rehabilitation staff offered expert healthcare advise and reviewed available resources and services in the Ocean and Monmouth County area. Some of the topics that Health Fair participants learned about were healthy diets, exercise and energy conservation, oral care, advanced directives and home care services. In addition to education, fair goers were offered wellness screens such as hearing, glucose and blood pressure.
