As resident's needs exceed the care they are currently receiving, Bartley Healthcare offers the Cedar Spring Program within its long-term care center. Offered in a secured Dementia Care Wing, the Cedar Spring Program is personalized to each resident.

Individual Plan of Care

Residents are assessed by our integrated medical, nursing, therapeutic and social service staff, who design an individualized plan of care. This plan focuses on the individual's unique strengths and is designed to optimize his or her capabilities, while promoting a sense of well-being. For those with early-stage memory support to those with advanced stage Alzheimer's disease, Bartley Healthcare offers Cedar Spring to provide personalized care for the entire continuum of dementia.

Creative Dementia Programming

The program includes a range of diversified cognitive and physical activities that are fun and productive for participants. In addition, the spiritual and social needs of our residents are met with group and individual functions, religious services and relaxation programs.

Residents enjoy weekly sight-seeing trips to enjoy the outdoor scenery as the seasons change, as well as daily customized programming from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with fulfilling activities designed to encourage physical, emotional and cognitive functioning.
