The Cedar Spring Memory Support Program

Understanding that there are many individuals with early stage Alzheimer's disease or memory impairment who would benefit from assisted living services, Bartley Healthcare has expanded its Cedar Spring Program to include comprehensive memory support services from assisted living through skilled nursing. Offered with the safe and secure Cedar Court neighborhood, the Cedar Spring Program is a comprehensive, innovative, activity-based approach to care designed to improve and enhance the quality of life of our residents. The Cedar Spring Program provides residents with the independence and lifestyle of assisted living and the appropriate support, care services, security and environment needed by those with memory support needs.

The Cedar Court neighborhood was specially designed to provide a warm, comfortable setting, as well as a safe environment that minimizes disorientation and confusion. The interior features natural lighting, neutral colors and reduced background noise, creating a soothing, comforting environment. To help memory support residents find their way, there are cognitive and visual cues on the doors and walls. Other features include a Sensory Stimulation Room and three Memory Support Rooms (grocery store, baby nursery and office).

Cedar Court is staffed by a team of specially trained professionals. all proficient in the care and needs of those with early stage Alzheimer's disease and memory impairment. Compassionate and supportive, they will be available 24-hours a day to provide care, help with a task, share a special moment, or simply listen to a cherished story.
