- Hospice Care
Our interdisciplinary team consists of professionals who work together to provide quality care. Residents receive the personalized attention and outstanding care that they and their family members expect. With special attention paid to maintaining high functioning status, Bartley Healthcare has implemented many unique programs that assist residents in being as independent as possible. The nationally certified activities staff offers residents a diversity of programs that focus on individual needs and interests. Activities are designed with recreational and therapeutic emphasis to maintain physical, cognitive, social, creative, spiritual and intellectual abilities. Resident Council empowers residents with the opportunity to choose and plan activities and programs. Our wheelchair-accessible vans enable residents to take frequent trips outside the facility. Restorative programs, a cooperative effort between nursing and therapy, provide continuity of care to residents discharged from skilled therapy in order to maintain their highest level of functioning. Restorative dining allows residents who require intervention in feeding to dine in the main dining room to enjoy a social atmosphere during their meals. Residents in the advanced stages of a terminal illness can remain in a comforting environment while receiving pain management/palliative treatment from the most caring of professionals. Through Bartley's Hospice Care services, compassion and support are offered to residents and their families in a quiet and peaceful environment. Bartley Healthcare offers Respite Care to allow families who care for a loved one at home the opportunity to vacation or take a break from their daily responsibilities. Various lengths of stay can be arranged. You can take comfort in knowing that the professional and compassionate staff at Bartley is caring for your loved one in your absence. Private and semi-private rooms are available. Alzheimer's and Related Dementia - Cedar Spring Program We offer our residents diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia an innovative activity based Dementia Program. Based on guidelines from the Alzheimer's Association, we have developed our Cedar Spring Program, a program that maximizes residents' functional and cognitive abilities. Individuals who are unable to participate in the regular facility activities can enjoy meaningful activities in a safe, secure and predictable environment.
