Bartley Healthcare is pleased to announce it is one of 66 nationwide assisted living communities recognized by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) for its Quality Initiative Recognition Program.

“The Quality of Care Recognition Award that we have received acknowledges the consistency in the quality of care and services we provide to our residents, ” said Lauren Kessler, Executive Director of The Orchards at Bartley Assisted Living. “We take pride in meeting all of our residents and family’s needs. Families and residents choose The Orchards because of our service excellence.”

The NCAL Quality Initiative Recognition Program is designed to recognize assisted living providers that demonstrate the attainment of two or more of the four NCAL Quality Initiative goals:

  • Increase staff stability
  • Increase customer satisfaction
  • Safely reduce hospital readmissions
  • Safely reduce the off-label use of antipsychotics

“Improving quality care as a profession requires dedication from many organizations,” said Mark Parkinson, President and CEO of AHCA/NCAL. “The program provides an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the progress that our members have made by achieving the Quality Initiative goals and improving care for individuals living in their communities. I commend their hard work.”
