Peace of Mind for Residents & Families
We have developed our Cedar Spring Program for those diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease of related dementia, following guidelines from the Alzheimer's Association. An innovative activity-based program, Cedar Spring maximizes residents' functional and cognitive abilities.
Individuals who are unable to participate in the regular facility activities can enjoy meaningful activities in a safe, secure and predictable environment.
An individually-based program, our integrated medical, nursing, therapeutic and social service staff assess each participant. The staff then designs an individualized plan of care that focuses on each person's strengths.
The program includes a range of diversified cognitive and physical activities that are fun and productive for participants. In addition, the spiritual and social needs of our residents are met with group functions, religious services and relaxation programs.
“They made me feel very welcome when I came here. Before living here, I never played bingo in my life. I never played cards in my life. Today I played ping-pong for the first time. I do ceramics, word games.
“I have a pretty busy day. Some days I go to bed very tired.”
